Your privacy
VegaStream is a free player from HFTools. You do not create a VegaStream account. We do not operate an advertising or analytics service, sell personal information, send marketing messages, or receive your provider credentials or viewing history through the app. The release app disables its JavaScript diagnostic logging. Amazon and your provider may maintain their own technical records; we cannot promise that their systems produce no logs.
Your chosen provider
To browse and play your service, enter its server address, username and password. Your Fire TV sends these credentials and content requests directly to your provider and its media servers. Those services can see your IP address and requested content. Artwork can load from image hosts supplied by your provider. Their privacy policies apply to their processing. No service or subscription is included with VegaStream.
Saved on your Fire TV
With Save account enabled, the app saves up to ten service addresses, usernames and passwords in app-private storage. VegaStream does not separately encrypt this storage. Favorites, recently watched items, hidden categories, preferences and cached library information also stay on the device. Playback processing runs on your Fire TV; no VegaStream conversion server receives your streams.
Your choices and deletion
Turn Save account off to connect without saving a new login. Remove an existing login from Saved accounts to delete that saved credential entry. Logging out does not delete saved data. Settings > Advanced options lets you clear recently watched items and metadata cache; clearing cache retains favorites. To remove all local data, use Fire TV Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > VegaStream > Clear data. This resets the app and removes saved logins and preferences. Provider accounts and records must be managed with your provider.
Connection security
Use an HTTPS server address when your provider supports it. HTTP connections are not encrypted and can expose login details and content requests on the network. Anyone using the app on your Fire TV can open a saved account. Do not reuse your provider password for other accounts.
Website and support
Our website has no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies or sign-up forms. Hosting and network providers may process IP addresses and technical request records to deliver and secure the website. If you email support, your email address and message are received by the support mailbox and email provider solely to handle your request. Do not send passwords. Contact: cambradyhf@gmail.com. About these disclosures
This policy describes VegaStream's app and website, not your streaming provider or Amazon's services. We do not knowingly seek information from children or market the app to children. Contact support if you have a privacy concern. Changes to these practices will be reflected in this policy and its update date. Only use content you are authorized to access.
