Where can I get the app?
VegaStream is being prepared for Amazon Appstore review. It is not yet publicly available. This page will be updated when an approved store listing is available. The player will be free.
Which devices are supported?
This release is designed and tested for Fire TV Stick 4K Select running Vega OS 1.2 or later. It is a Vega OS app, not an Android APK. Other Fire TV models running Fire OS are not supported by this package.
Do I need an account?
You do not create a VegaStream account. To browse and watch content, enter the server URL, username and password from your own compatible Xtream service. VegaStream does not sell subscriptions or supply channels. Only use content you are authorized to access.
How do I hide categories?
Choose Hide categories in your library, or Settings → Manage hidden categories. Select Live TV, Movies or Series, then hide the categories you do not want to see. Return to the same screen to show them again.
Can I save several logins?
Yes. Leave Save account: On when connecting. You can save up to ten accounts on your Fire TV. Use Settings → Switch account to change accounts or add another. Anyone using the app on your device can open a saved account.
Why will a stream not play?
Playback depends on the provider, connection, container and codec support on the device. Not every format is guaranteed. Live TV requires an HLS/M3U8 output from your provider. Try another stream, check the service in another supported player and confirm your provider's connection limit. Prefer an HTTPS server address when supported.
